LKNC is a 501c3, nonprofit organization, completely dependent upon tuition and donations as its primary sources of revenue. We receive NO government assistance or funding. Parents are responsible for prompt payment of all tuition and fees.

DISCOUNTS

• 2% discount on tuition if pre-paid-in-full by the July 30th preceding the school year
• 10% discount on the tuition of younger siblings (oldest sibling pays full tuition)
• 25% discount on tuition for the children of pastors employed full-time in local churches (cannot be combined with sibling discount)
• Partial tuition assistance may be available for those who qualify (click here for Tuition Assistance)

WITHDRAWAL

If for any reason you are planning to withdraw your student, please write a letter to give notice of the student’s last day in school. Tuition must be paid through the end of the semester of withdrawal (January and June). All tuition and fees must be paid before student records will be released.

PAST DUE BALANCES

Unpaid balances create difficulties for our school. Because of this, accounts more than 30 days past due may result in:

• Parents asked to keep their child home from school until paid
• Withholding of report cards and/or student records until paid
• Student prevented from re-enrolling or starting school the next year
• Loss of student’s enrollment at LKNC

NSF PAYMENTS

All checks returned for non-sufficient funds must be repaid plus a $10 NSF fee paid to the school. All automated ACH or CC payments attempted by Facts Tuition Management that are returned unpaid for any reason will result in an additional $25 fee charged by Facts. Please note the following reattempt process.

• Facts will make a second attempt on the next payment date (5th or 20th, whichever comes first).
• If still unsuccessful, Facts will make a third attempt on your normal payment date, along with the normal payment, resulting in two payment attempts on the same day.
• If the third Facts attempt is unsuccessful, the account will be more than 30 days past due, and subject to the past due policy, above.

REFUNDS

• If your child does not test into the program, your registration fee will be refunded, but not the testing/screening fee.
• If your child is accepted but placed on a waiting list and you decide to withdraw them prior to placement, your registration fee will be refunded.
• If your child is on a waiting list but not placed prior to November 1, your registration fee will be refunded.
• If one of your children is accepted but another is not, and you wish to place them in another school together, your registration fees for both will be refunded.
• If you move at least 30 miles away from LKNC before the school year starts, your registration fee will be refunded.
• Once your child attends school, there are no refunds issued.
• Refunds are not available for tuition paid, except for pre-paid tuition for a semester not yet started prior to withdrawal (no refunds for the semester of withdrawal).
