Mrs. Eklund comes to LKNC with over 18 years experience within various academic arenas and services for students as young as 18 months to college age & beyond. Following her earning an Associates Degree from Brevard College, Ginger obtained her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. She and her husband of 25 years, Paul, have two children, Chris who is 23 years old & Chase who is 15 years old. She & her family are members of Lake Forest Church in Huntersville & have served as summer short-term missionaries in Cochabamba Bolivia for 6 years. Ginger is also an active watercolorist, reader, & cook. Ginger came into the family of Christ in 2002 & has enjoyed a rapidly growing relationship with her Creator. While she enjoys many varied activities, her most cherished times are spent in quiet & solitude as she listens for His still small voice. She loves reading the Bible on a daily basis & considers many scriptures her "favorite". However, for its encouraging message, a special Bible verse to her is listed below.
