Michelle Johnson joined the staff of LKNC in 2009 as a K - 9th grade computer teacher and high school math teacher. Her teaching background consists of 16 years of teaching middle school, high school, and college level math and technology. She graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Education and Computer Science. She is furthering her education at Appalachian State University with a Masters in Mathematics.

She has been married to her husband, Dwight, for 17 years. They have three children, Dwight Jr., 17, Quenten, 14, and Alyssa, 11. She and her family are members of New Birth-Charlotte, under the leadership of Bishop Terrell Murphy. Mrs. Johnson is overwhelmed with joy to follow GOD's plans with LKNC.
